Today was a good day. Every day should be a good day when you have opportunity and the ability to choose to make it a good day. I threw a party last night and I was achy from cleaning yesterday, but it was worth the effort to see my friends together at the end of the holiday season.

He’s Officially Not Evil Anymore

It actually makes me really happy that Bill Gates, who so many people used to think was evil incarnate, just isn’t evil.

The donation of Warren Buffet this week to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was an act of truly caring for humanity and giving back to it.

I want to publicly thank them all for giving me some hope for the future.

I’ve always struggled with the fact that the work I do seems a bit ‘touchy-feely’ to business folks. But today I learned about some secret sauce that makes it quantifiable. There are actually methods and models to prove that a good Customer Experience has a significant effect on the bottom line. It can be about profit and doing things that delight customers. That has always just been a gut instinct but now I’ve got numbers and proof to back me up.

It’s the beginning of something. I can listen to a music stream that I create from anywhere on the network via a web app.

Hmmmmmmmmm. The possibilities…….

There is more to this story. I feel it will unfold in the near term. I’m not sure how it will unfold. I do know it will be a great adventure.

Monday Again

So, today sucked. It was just one of those rough days. I had a rough time gettting started. I wasn’t feeling good. My energy was low. I needed my B12 shot. I’m one of the lucky few that doesn’t absorb B12 into my blood through normal means so I have to get an injection of it every month. As I approach needing the next dose, I often start to slow down and have low energy. So that was going on.

And I wanted to have a good attitude. I tried and made it through for awhile. Then I just gave up.

Tomorrow has GOT TO BE better.

Here’s to hoping for better in the morning.
